Mohandas Karanchand Gandhi

Today's assembly was inspired by a simple commodity - salt.

In 1930, Gandhi decided to peacefully rebel against a salt tax that was charged to all Indians. In addition, he disagreed with the law that forbid you to make your own salt.

His 240 mile, 23 day march to the sea was a moment in time that changed India, and also the world.

Watch the video that was shown today and remember:
'Be the change you want to see in the world'.
